E-Trike that will be produced consists of several variations. The main obstacles in the E-Trike production are related to the limitedness of investment and market for a new product. To overcome this, lean manufacturing and low-volume production strategies are used. In this case study, the E-Trike production process, which consists of chassis manufacturing and component assembly, will be carried out at the factory located in Gedebage. In this research, there is several steps of analysis to achieve the result, such as elaborating E-Trike engineering systems, determining the sequence of manufacturing processes using precedence diagrams, and balancing the production line by applying the ranked positional weight (RPW) method. After that, the production line is evaluated, and then the research ends with arranging body construction and component assembly procedures, as well as designing the factory layout. The results of this study include the design of an E-Trike production line which has a line efficiency of 96,30%, body construction procedures, component assembly procedures, and the design of the factory. It is hoped that these results could be a solution to resolve the problem of investment and market limitedness. text
