| Summary: | <p align="justify">Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of handicraft cultures, one of which is traditional weaving crafts. The West Java Traditional Weaving Center and Workhsop Project, located in Garut, aims to preserve traditional weaving activities. This project needs to be well planned, especially the structural aspects of the building in order to meet the needs of the facility's operational activities during its service life.
The designed structure is divided into 3 buildings, namely the exhibition-commercial building, the workhsop building, and the support building. The entire building is designed using steel profiles and mild steel for the roof structure of the workhsop building and supports. The structural system used in the design of this structure is special moment frame system.
The methodology used in the design of structures starts from literature studies, defining structural systems and loading, modeling, checking earthquake resistance and structural component capacities, and connection detailing planning. The design of this structure refers to standards, namely SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, SNI 1729:2020, SNI 7860:2020, SNI 7972:2020, Steel Deck Institute 2011 and AISC Steel Design Guide Base Plate and Anchor Rod Design. The results of the structural design of the West Java Traditional Weaving Center and Workhsop Project are material specifications and technical drawings.
