The PVC is mixed by Epoxidized Palm Oil (EPO ) with a composition 10 %, 15 % and 20% of EPO. Tensile strength analysis shows that the addition of plasiticizer decreases the ultimate strength and increases the elongation. From XRD analysis it has been found that PVC and PVC with plasticizer are amorphous, while 1R analysis shows that addition of plasticizer into PVC is a physical mixture. From the DTA analysis shows a decrease of melting point of plasticized PVC. text |
