Bank Indonesia also introduced a Non-Cash National Movement program with Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as its leading initiative. While QRIS proves to have high societal acceptance, it also creates acompetitive landscape for platforms such as e-wallet and m-banking to compete in acquiring QRIS users. This research aims to explore the effects of QRIS as a unified cashless payment towards payment switching method in e-wallet and m-banking usage in Indonesia through qualitative and quantitative methods combined. Quantitative approach data is collected through questionnaire are are analysed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) software. This research targets QRIS users that have used both e-wallet and m-banking for QRIS payments and have decided to switch to m-banking with 12 participants for qualitative approach and 221 participants for quantitative approach. Significant influences were depicted in this research for trust, perceived compatibility, price, attitude towards switching, perceived behavioural control, and personality traits towards switching intention. Moreover, switching intention is shown to have significant influence to switching behaviour. The finding of this research is expected to give understanding about the factors that influence payment switching method and give marketing recommendations for QRIS payment platforms. |
