The need for tin and its associated minerals such as rare earth elements has increased, making the search for tin resources and rare earth elements increasing. One of the explorations for tin and rare earth elements is through secondary enrichment. This secondary enrichment is due to the process of erosion and transport of tin ore minerals and rare earth elements in the fluvial process. In the Air Biat area, West Bangka, there are seincreasing the search for tin resources and rare earth elements earth elements in certain sediment layers. The location of the core drilling data is in the fluvial area near the granite hill, Bukit Menumbing, which has tin enrichment mineralization. In this study analysis of placer sediment samples was performed on three-grain size fractions, namely the +48-mesh fraction (297-354 ?m), the +100-mesh fraction (149 ?m), and the -100-mesh fraction (<149 ?m). The rare earth elements (REEs) are lanthanum and cerium. From the analysis results, it can be concluded that the correlation of the presence of tin, lanthanum, and cerium shows a strong association between the fractions. The correlation between the presence of tin and cerium in each fraction shows a moderate association. The correlation between the presence of tin and lanthanum in each fraction shows a moderate association. The correlation between the presence of lanthanum and cerium in each fraction shows a strong association. In this study, one kaksa deposit and four mincan deposits were found at a depth of 35 m to 50 m from the ground surface. Kaksa and mincan have a melensa distribution pattern. The presence of tin and REEs is generally found in cashier clastic sediments, namely gravel, gravel, and coarse sand. The threshold values for tin, cerium, and lanthanum are 16218 ppm, 1258.93 ppm and 1513.56 ppm respectively. The range of tin, lanthanum and cerium values are 15.7 – 17847 ppm, 80.25 – 5671 ppm and 120.05 – 5804 ppm, respectively. text
