Summary: | Batukaras Village, located in Cijulang District, Pangandaran Regency is known as a beach tourism area, this refers to Village Regulation No. 5 of 2020 in order to call for the realization of a mainstay tourist destination that is integrated towards a prosperous village. Along with climate change and increasing patterns of coastal activity by rural communities, it has an impact on the use of marine resources which has an impact on the quality of the coastal environment. In dealing with disruption to village community activities, it is necessary to study Ecological Social Resilience (SER), it is important to look at patterns of human activity as the main determining factor to see changes in interactions in the use of resources, so that understanding of resilience can be absorbed from beach tourism activities to realize community welfare. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, the data collection process is carried out using observation techniques, documentation, literature studies, and in-depth interviews with key informants, and the analysis used is content analysis, and descriptive qualitative analysis with steps such as: data presentation , reduction, to the stage of drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study answered questions from the formulation of the problem, at the beginning of the identification of the socio-ecological system of coastal tourism, that there are problems regarding the disruption of fishing activities to tourism activities that affect the quality of the coastal tourism environment due to weather changes, then conditions regarding the damage to mangrove forest tourism objects due to environmental change disturbances, which found a lack of awareness stakeholders related to development that affect the pattern of tourism activities. Next, identify the socio-ecological resilience of tourism in the face of disturbances such as: there are efforts to learn to live with change, then the role and efforts of the government in realizing social justice in maintaining ecosystem protection to utilize coastal tourism resources which are still not implemented optimally, so that in implementation it is necessary to have improvement strategy in utilizing coastal tourism resources |
