TOD can be a solution to urban problems. One of the planned TOD developments is TOD Sukaresmi. Supposedly, the construction of the Sukaresmi transit node area has been carried out since 2019, but the construction has been delayed due to budget refocusing . In addition, the planned area of the Sukaresmi transit node is geographically adjacent to the river and has a risk of landslides. Often the development of TOD is assumed as the construction of the station area and its surroundings, without regard to the relationship between the transit system and activities at the station and its surroundings. Therefore, a study is needed to determine and identify the feasibility of the Sukaresmi transit node area in realizing a sub-city scale TOD principle area by considering the criteria and indicators of the sub-city TOD area. This research is qualitative and quantitative research that is exploratory in nature with an evaluation and prescriptive type approach. Qualitative methods are used to formulate descriptive analyses from the analysis of planning documents, factual conditions, and evaluations. Quantitative methods are used in calculating the number of occupancy, population density, labor density, land-use percentage, and space use intensity. The criteria and indicators used in identifying the Sukaresmi transit node area are divided into transportation system development and development within a radius of 800 meters from the Sukaresmi transit node, with 3 and 26 indicators respectively. This study concluded that the Sukaresmi area is not feasible enough to be used as a transit-oriented area (TOD) on a sub-city scale. text |

A transit-oriented development area is an area with diverse land uses supported by
a walkable environment. TOD can be a solution to urban problems. One of the
planned TOD developments is TOD Sukaresmi. Supposedly, the construction of
the Sukaresmi transit node area has been carried out since 2019, but the
construction has been delayed due to budget refocusing . In addition, the planned
area of the Sukaresmi transit node is geographically adjacent to the river and has a
risk of landslides. Often the development of TOD is assumed as the construction
of the station area and its surroundings, without regard to the relationship between
the transit system and activities at the station and its surroundings. Therefore, a
study is needed to determine and identify the feasibility of the Sukaresmi transit
node area in realizing a sub-city scale TOD principle area by considering the
criteria and indicators of the sub-city TOD area.
