Summary: | Current business circumstances require effective human capital management. The author advocates researching human capital practices, including the Aon Hewitt employee engagement model, to improve employee engagement at PT Indo Kaya Energi. This study sought to identify the main issue in human capital practices, analyze employee engagement level using the Aon Hewitt model, identify the most important employee engagement driver variables, and propose a strategic business solution for PT Indo Kaya Energi. Qualitative research incorporated semi-structured interviews with human resource professionals and various department employees, utilizing importance to performance analysis. The interviews aimed to assess the importance and satisfaction of each employee engagement driver variable and evaluate the company's current state. The company's average employee engagement level is classified as "Say to Stay," indicating that employees are satisfied enough to remain but may not be motivated to go above and beyond. As the results, the most important employee engagement drivers at PT Indo Kaya Energi are Company Brand and Organizational Communication, while areas such as performance management, trust in leadership, and the working environment require improvement. The proposed solutions aim to enhance performance management, trust in leadership, and the working environment in order to actively engage employees, improve overall performance and productivity, and achieve better results. |
