The local community's need for groundwater has been increasing due to the growing number of settlements in the research area. The community tends to use dug wells bulit by each resident to meet their daily water needs, so further research is needed on the geological structure and identifying the characteristics and hydrogeological quality of the research area. The research data consists of 56 geological data (outcrops and rocks) and 24 hydrogeological data. The methods employed in this study include observation and analysis of hydrogeological conditions. The research area covers an area of 28 km², and the obtained groundwater data are compared with the drinking water standards set by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 416/MENKES/PER/IX/1990 and No. 492/MENKES/PER/VI/2010. The geomorphology of the research area consists of seven geomorphological units. The geology of the research area is divided into four rock units: Sand-Claystone Unit, Andesite Lava Dome Unit, Pyroclastic Breccia Unit, and Laharic Breccia Unit. The hydrogeological system in the research area comprises volcano-sedimentary deposit typology and folded sedimentary aquifer system typology. The type of springs found in the research area is depression springs. The hydrogeology of the research area is divided into three free aquifer units: Sand-Claystone Aquifer Unit, Pyroclastic Breccia Aquifer Unit, and Laharic Breccia Aquifer Unit. The management of water resources in the research area can be enhanced through various methods, such as improving water conservation, developing new water sources, and enhancing water management. These measures can be implemented to maintain the quality and quantity of the research area. text
