In addition, measuring the Shape Index (SI) and weighing the eggs is also still done manually, which can cause delays in hatching the eggs. To overcome these problems, this study will develop an egg selection system for hatching using Image Processing and Machine Learning technology based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This system will use a camera to capture images of the eggs and then process the images using image processing technology to automatically measure the Shape Index (SI) and weight of the eggs. In addition, this system will also use Machine Learning technology to predict the quality of hatching eggs based on data collected from image processing to determine whether or not there are eggshell cracks. All data collected by this system will be integrated into the Internet of Things (IoT) platform to facilitate remote system management and monitoring. The developed system resulted in a 12% increase in success rate and improved efficiency in the egg sorting process. text |
