Description
Summary:This paper discusses the topic of aromatic wellness through the utilization of essential oils within the context of an experimental sensory book. As the wellness lifestyle trend continues to flourish in response to stress and hustle culture, there arises a need for a medium that can impart insights to young adults regarding essential oils as a source of aromatic wellness. In order to comprehensively depict the benefits of utilizing essential oils for aromatic wellness, this is achieved through the creation of a literacy-oriented design in the form of an experimental book medium. The term "experimental" in this context encompasses not only the visual aspect, but also engages various sensory systems of the body, including the olfactory (sense of smell) and tactile (sense of touch) senses, which can stimulate the brain and influence human emotions. By embracing a visually captivating concept inspired by the cycles of nature, amalgamating forms, materials, and organic processes, while giving precedence to sensory experiences, this endeavor aims to foster a deeper connection between humanity and nature. This, in turn, cultivates and nurtures a relationship that enhances overall wellness and design quality. The author invites the reader to embark on a sensory journey towards wellness, directly experiencing the benefits of essential oils.
