This condition prompted Sumedang Regency to take various intervention steps, resulting in positive outcomes in decreasing stunting. According to the results of the Monthly Weighing Toddlers (BPB), the prevalence of stunting in Sumedang Regency has shown a significant decrease over the last 3 years, with rates of 12.05% (2020), 10.99% (2021), and 8.27% (2022). This successful reduction in stunting occurred due to the support of all stakeholders, both from the government and other organizations, with a concept of collaborative governance. This study uses qualitative methods to trace the process of collaborative governance in overcoming stunting, starting from the initial conditions of the formation process to its impact. Additionally, the roles and relationships between actors in the collaboration on stunting prevention in Sumedang Regency are also examined using the social network analysis method. The research results indicate that the initial conditions support collaboration, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and the collaborative process based on indicators such as face-to-face dialogue, building trust, commitment to the process, sharing of understanding, interim results, and impact have been executed effectively in this collaboration. Regarding the roles and relationships between actors in the collaboration, the Sumedang Regency Regional Research and Development Planning Agency, the Sumedang Regency Health Office, and the Sumedang Regency Population Control and Family Planning Office are the most prominent and influential actors in the efforts to prevent stunting in Sumedang Regency. The expected success in implementing collaborative governance for the prevention of stunting in Sumedang district suggests that this approach can be implemented in other areas and for other programs as well. text |
