The evolution of stars is influenced by some factors, such as mass and metallicity. This final task will discuss the evolution of very low mass stars (VLM). All small and very small mass stars have habitable zone. The habitable zone is the region around a star where rocky planets have liquid water on their surfaces, thus having the potential for life. The habitable zone evolves along with the evolution of its parent star. This research uses a case study object, namely LHS 475, as a reference to investigate the habitable zone as the star evolves. This star is classified as an M3.5V spectral class star and has a mass of 0.274 , thus categorizing it as a very low mass star. In early 2023, a planetary system orbiting the star LHS 475, called LHS 475b, was discovered. In this Final Task, the evolution process of LHS 475 is simulated using the parameters available in the MESA stellar evolution program, and the output data will be used to calculate the inner and outer boundaries of the habitable zone. The evolution of the star LHS 475 was obtained using the stellar evolution program MESA Linux-based. The data is also used to model the habitable zone of the star LHS 475, which will be compared with the position of the planet LHS 475b.. text
