Summary: | The Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) is a method that is often used in transformator
maintenance. Therefore, the interpretation of the results of the gas content in
transformator oil must be carried out properly to get the right information
regarding the condition of the transformator. The internasional standards for the
interpretation of DGA in transformators with mineral oil are IEEE C57.104 and
IEC 60599. In this research, a comparison of these standards was carried out to
find out which tipikal values from those standards, some tipical value from other
researches, and typical value from this study to know which more in line with the
actual conditions of the power transformator. In this research, a tipikal value of the
concentration of gas content in transformator oil was searched to get better
accuracy than tipikal values at internasional standards and other study. A total of
6092 samples of transformator mineral oil from 2473 transformator units were
used to find tipikal values of gas concentrations with operating voltage which were
divided into several categories, namely category O with > 500 kV with
subcategories 500 and 525 kV, category A with a voltage rating between 170 kV
and 400 kV with subcategory 275 kV, category B with a rated voltage between 72.5
kV and 170 kV with subcategories of 150 kV and others, and kategori C with rated
voltages between below 72.5 kV with subcategories of 70 kV, 20 kV, and others. In
this study, the typical value for individual Gas rates was also searched with 765
samples from 500 transformator units. Typical values in this study uses the 90 and
95 percentile methods. Typical value from this study will be compared with actual
data from 62 transformer units. The results are typical values in this study have
better accuracy than tipikal values in IEC 60599 and IEEE C57.104 and other
typical values from some research.. |
