Description
Summary:Population growth accompanied by rapid development often leads to the conversion of large areas of green open land. Consequently, there is a reduction in water catchment areas, which has an impact on increasing flow concentration time and reducing infiltration rate in the area, resulting in greater runoff and flooding. One of the residential areas in the city of Bandung that experienced flooding was Cipamokolan Village, Rancasari District. To address this problem, paving blocks are often used as road pavement surface covering construction materials to reduce flood discharge. In this study, the planned flood discharge was calculated using the rational discharge method with a 2-year return period of the intensity of the Talbot method. This research intends to plan a drainage system by applying paving block samples with the greatest potential for reducing flood discharge plans. The paving grass block sample is a sample that has the potential by reducing flood discharge at the drainage outlet or downstream by 19.56% - 36.16%. Therefore, scenario planning or alternative drainage will use paving grass blocks as pavement in this Final Project. The total budget plan required for planning drainage with the application of paving grass block pavement is IDR 19,401,024,229.13.
