Description
Summary:EMG is study of the electrical signals from muscles. EMG signals are biomedical signals that measure the electrical currents generated in muscles during contraction. In its measurement, EMG measures the difference in potential of the electrodes which is a combination of the action potentials of the muscle fibers underlying the skin. Things that must be considered in this measurement are the weight of the load and the time interval for the measurement. In this study, a quantitative comparative analysis of EMG signals was carried out using variations in data collection, such as weight, length of time for each lifting, and measurenent time. Then the EMG signal recording results were processed using the Jupyter Notebook software and using the Excel application. EMG signal data is decomposed, FFT process, and welch periodogram. The results obtained in the measurement are if each of these variations is carried out, the mass of the load is increased or the time lag between lifting is shortened or the measurement time is extended, it produces EMG signal data over time which shows an increasing number of signals with large amplitudes
