Summary: | This final project contains the design process for an intermodal transit center at
Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, which consists of two buildings with each buildings
contains three floors and five floors tower with one basement level with various
functional rooms in the building. The building consists of a concrete structure on
the building and basement with a steel structure on the bridge. One important
principle of structural aspect is that structure elements can bear the design loads
they may encounter. The design of the transportation aspect is carried out by
reviewing the performance of building services including accessibility and capacity
of pedestrians inside the building and skybridge, facilities for users with special
needs, and building emergency circulation planning. Design management and
construction engineering aspects have an important role in the process of
implementing the construction of the intermodal transit center. The design aspects
of construction management and engineering include construction implementation
methods, project scheduling and construction cost estimation.
