INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/76395 The provision of clean water can be improved through the construction of water storage structures such as dams. The Cipanundaan Dam in Cirebon Regency was built to meet the needs of clean water and irrigation for the community. The Dam is planned as an embankment dam with a catchment area of 10.98 km2. Therefore, technical planning in the field of Civil Engineering, especially in the field of Water Resources Engineering, is required. The planning includes hydrological analysis, spillway design, diversion channel design, and spillway stability control. Hydrological analysis is carried out to determine the design flood discharge, which will be used for the hydraulic planning of the spillway and diversion channels. From the hydrological analysis results, the design flood discharge for a 1000-year return period is 188 m3/s, and the Probable Maximum Flood (QPMF) is 484 m3/s. The spillway structure is designed using Ogee Spillway with a width of 17.5 m, while the diversion channel uses a circular conduit with a diameter of 1.8 m to accommodate the flood discharge for a 25-year return period. The stability analysis of the spillway design shows that the structure is stable against sliding and overturning with a minimum safety factor of 1.5. Through this planning, it is expected that the Cipanundaan Dam will help meet the demand for clean water and support irrigation activities for the surrounding communities. text |

The provision of clean water can be improved through the construction of water
storage structures such as dams. The Cipanundaan Dam in Cirebon Regency was
built to meet the needs of clean water and irrigation for the community. The Dam
is planned as an embankment dam with a catchment area of 10.98 km2. Therefore,
technical planning in the field of Civil Engineering, especially in the field of
Water Resources Engineering, is required. The planning includes hydrological

discharge, which will be used for the hydraulic planning of the spillway and
diversion channels. From the hydrological analysis results, the design flood
discharge for a 1000-year return period is 188 m3/s, and the Probable Maximum
