The increasing number of residents in the area is trying to be balanced by the developer by continuing to provide various residential options with complete facilities in line with the vision to become an independent city. At the beginning of 2019, the developer and the local government collaborated with a Swedish property furniture company to open an outlet in the Kota Baru Parahyangan area. In addition to meeting the needs of the community, the construction of this project also aims to contribute to the local economy and the welfare of the surrounding community. This final project design the drainage networks and rainwater harvesting system that are applied to the furniture outlet. The drainage system of this project is designed with the concept of eco-drainage. This concept makes rainwater that falls into the area to be channeled into a reservoir for reuse. Drainage design includes the design of the layout of the drainage network and the dimensions of the channel cross-section. The drainage design applies a rational method using rainfall from the Log Pearson III probability method for a 10 year return period. The supply of clean water at the furniture outlet comes from two sources, PDAM supply and the harvested rainwater. In this case, an analysis of the need and availability of water is carried out to determine the size of the clean water reservoir. The water reservoirs designs include ground water tanks (GWT) and roof water tanks (RWT). In addition, this final project also design the clean water distribution components (pumps and pipes). text |

Standing on an area of 1250 ha, Kota Baru Parahyangan is home to around 2000
families. The increasing number of residents in the area is trying to be balanced by
the developer by continuing to provide various residential options with complete
facilities in line with the vision to become an independent city. At the beginning of
2019, the developer and the local government collaborated with a Swedish property
furniture company to open an outlet in the Kota Baru Parahyangan area. In addition
to meeting the needs of the community, the construction of this project also aims to
contribute to the local economy and the welfare of the surrounding community.
This final project design the drainage networks and rainwater harvesting system
that are applied to the furniture outlet. The drainage system of this project is
designed with the concept of eco-drainage. This concept makes rainwater that falls
into the area to be channeled into a reservoir for reuse. Drainage design includes
the design of the layout of the drainage network and the dimensions of the channel
cross-section. The drainage design applies a rational method using rainfall from the
Log Pearson III probability method for a 10 year return period.
The supply of clean water at the furniture outlet comes from two sources, PDAM
supply and the harvested rainwater. In this case, an analysis of the need and
availability of water is carried out to determine the size of the clean water reservoir.
The water reservoirs designs include ground water tanks (GWT) and roof water
tanks (RWT). In addition, this final project also design the clean water distribution
components (pumps and pipes). |
