School X is an educational institution that has 3 educational units at the same time, namely junior high, senior high and vocational high schools. The school has 287 teachers, 66 study groups and 61 subjects. Teaching and learning activities are scheduled every day, except Friday, from 7.30 AM to 12.00 PM, with a total of 6 to 7 sessions every day. Up to now, scheduling at the School X is still done manually, so violations of the hard constraints are still found. The author proposes to design a subject scheduling program using a sequential method that can satisfy the hard constraints. The programming language used is Visual Basic for Application (VBA) which is implemented in Microsoft Office Excel event-driven programming language. text |
