Implementation of electronic Government (eGov) has been one of the major issues in nearly all Provinces or Municipalities. The desirable goal of the development of eGov is to attain a good governance; a synergistic, productive, transparant, and harmonious relationship between the government, private institutions, and society. <br />

Considering the available resources limitation, we need a predetermined concept in the form of a strategical model of good development of eGov to attain optimal results. <br />

This thesis entitled The Development of Electronic Government in Local Government in East Kutai s Municipality, which is a real life example, will be discussed. The result of analysis is a model which gives a deeper understanding on how the strategy of development of electronic government is done in the environment of Republic of Indonesia. <br />
