Description
Summary:Dementia is a neurological condition characterized by significant decline in cognitive functions, including memory, orientation, comprehension, and learning abilities. This research aims to design and implement an advanced database system to monitor the indoor location and activities of individuals with dementia. People with dementia often face difficulties in ensuring their own safety, particularly within the indoor environment of their homes. The developed database system is designed to monitor and store the indoor location and activities of individuals with dementia. The collected data includes information about indoor location, activities, and user accounts. In addition to real-time monitoring, the system also incorporates automatic alert features that can send notifications to caregivers or family members in the event of potentially dangerous activities, such as falls. It is expected that the designed and implemented database system will provide benefits in monitoring the indoor location and activities of individuals with dementia. This system can assist caregivers and families in better understanding the behavioral patterns of users and enhancing their safety within the home environment. With this system in place, it is anticipated that individuals with dementia can receive more effective and timely assistance, thereby reducing potential safety risks within the indoor setting.
