The design of the Kiaracondong Market in Bandung City is carried out to improve the image of traditional markets as a place to fulfill needs that are beneficial to the community. This includes reconstruction of Kiaracondong Market, the addition of facilities and other functions within the area to maximize land use, as well as providing additional facilities that can subsidize market fees. The market building, consisting of three stories, is designed as an earthquake-resistant structure, implementing composite columns with a plate system using steel composite floor slabs and a steel truss roof frame. The lateral force resistance system is planned to use the Special Moment Resisting Steel Frame System and the Special Concentric Bracing Frame System. The loading procedure and structural analysis will refer to SNI 1727:2020 and SNI 1726:2019, with strength and detailing prerequisites following SNI 1729:2020 and SNI 7860:2020. text
