Since Jakarta City has developed and increased the population, Ciliwung River started to change in many ways. The water quality of Ciliwung River has decreased because of pollution caused by waste. There are many resindetal areas along the Ciliwung riverbanks. Sedimentation has reduced the Ciliwung River’s Capacity. Around Ciliwung River, areas with highest population are section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu. Ciliwung Riverbank used by people in every activities as their habitation. Floods in Ciliwung River are caused by sediment, consisting of soil and waste materials. This study just discusses about soil sediment. Although Jakarta’s flood control activities have been carried out, the locations are still affected by flooding, especially Kampung Melayu, Kalibata to Rawajati area. Therefore, it is necessary to do studies about Ciliwung river morphology in section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu as one of the efforts to control floods in Jakarta. This study using 1D HecRas 6.1 model with steady and unsteady flow. The upstream boundary condition of the study will use 10 years daily discharge from MT. Haryono water level gauge station and sediment measurement data. For the downstream boundary using normal depth with slope is 0.0005. this study also using the ULSE method to analiyze land erosion potential in Ciliwung watershed. For sedimentation analysis using the Meyer Peter Muller method. Based on the USLE analysis, erosion volume is 102.598 m3/year and entered the river 26,531.9 m3/year. This study uses 2 scenarios, condition before normalization and after normalization. In 10 years, with cross section before normalization, total of degradation in Ciliwung river section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu is 29,078.2 ton or around 2,907.82 tons/year and total agradation is 205,738.2 ton or around 20,573.82 tons/year. The bed channel changes trend is aggradation along Ciliwung River Section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu after normalization condition. Within 10 years with normalized cross section total degradation in Ciliwung River Section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu is 3767.74 tons or 376.77 tons/year and aggradation is 168,744.9 tons or around 16,874.49 tons/year. At P193 which is located in Kalibata area, with normalized cross section has capacity 555.8995 m3/s. the simulation results show that the capacity increases to 570.669 m3/s with aggradation height is around 1 m. At P106 which is located in Kampung Melayu area, has capacity 525.617 m3/s. As a result of aggradation, the cross section capacity is reduced to 492.2539 m3/s with aggradation height is 1.3 m. After the river is normalized, there is decreasing in total degradation in Ciliwung River Section Kalibata – Kampung Melayu. This is due to the increased capacity of the river causing the velocity of the flow is being small so that does not erode the river bed. text
