Description
Summary:The application of a nile tilapia fish cultivation management system is an application designed for monitoring and providing actionable recommendations for nile tilapia fish cultivation ponds. This system utilizes IoT Smart Water Meters to determine the physiochemical parameters of the water. A backend system is essential to support the application's operation through a server, thereby reducing the load on user devices. Water quality sensors within the ponds are connected to the Antares cloud IoT platform and integrated with the backend system to store sensor data and provide real-time information. The backend system is linked to machine learning components to offer predictions regarding water quality, enabling proactive measures and user notifications. System testing encompasses evaluating overall application functionality and system load-handling performance. Test results indicate that the backend system architecture, utilizing the FastAPI framework and two communication protocols, efficiently supports connections with the smart water meter device, database, and mobile application. The implementation of a NoSQL database also facilitates structured storage of periodically collected sensor data. The developed system architecture aligns with the performance expectations of the application.
