Slope stability analysis is the implementation of occupational health and safety which done by mining engineer. Factor of safety is the result of slope stability analysis and it will determine whether the slope is considered safe or it will fail based on the minimum factor of safety standard stated in Keputusan Menteri Energi dan Sumber daya Mineral Number 1827K/30/MEM/2018. The study will specifically analyze the slope stability of west lowwall area as a PT XYZ’s Pit A hauling road in South Sumatera. PT XYZ’s Pit A cross section A-A’ of June pit limit design will be used to simulate the slope stability using software Rocscience Slide2 with Hu value of 1, 0,8 and 0,6 also with seismic load value of 0,03g and 0,05g obtained from the blasting data provided by PT XYZ. The result of slope stability using Janbu Simplified method on the A-A’ cross section with various model of Hu and seismic load shows failure of the slope for all model because the factor of safety does not meet the condition based on Keputusan Menteri Energi dan Sumber daya Mineral Number 1827K/30/MEM/2018. Hence, geometry recommendation for all slope’s model is required. After the geometry recommendation is done (lowering the slope) to all the slope’s model, slope stability analysis results shows that the factor of safety is comply to the standard. text
