Summary: | This final project discusses the design of construction management for the Redesign of Angso Duo Jambi Market project located in the city of Jambi. The construction management design includes determining construction implementation methods, scheduling, and cost estimation. The project’s construction is divided into prepatory work, geotechnical, structural, and transportation components. The construction method used by author for the Redesign of Angso Duo Market project in Jambi City involves cleaning the existing building and leveling the land, followed by excavation work from ground level to the base elevation of the pile cap until the foundation work is completed. Subsequently, structural work is carried out until road asphalting. In calculating the construction cost estimation, the author uses the Unit Cost Analysis method with standards outlined in the Attachment to the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Regulation Number 1 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Estimated Construction Costs in the Field of Public Works and Public Housing. The author utilizes Microsoft Excel software based on Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the quantification process of foundation material to road asphalting, and Microsoft Project for the scheduling process. Based on the design result, the total construction cost for this project using zone system is Rp170.332.344.169,86 or Rp6.064.035/m2 , and using non-zone system is Rp194.834.178.889 or Rp6.939.642/m2 . The project’s construction period for the zone system is from January 1,2024, to January 24,2025 or 335 working days on the calendar. For the non-zone system, the construction period is from January 1,2024, to December 2,2024, or 289 working days on the calendar.
