Summary: | After the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia's tourism sector is expected to be able to restore the community's economy. Likewise, the existence of the Kiarapayung Regional Forest in West Java, which is located adjacent to Sindangsari Village, has the potential to support the acceleration of the economic recovery of the local community after the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Jawa Barat, as the manager of the Kiarapayung Regional Forest, implements forest management of the Eco Edu Agroforestry pattern (PHP-EEA) with the concept of ecotourism. This land utilization effort in the Kiarapayung Regional Forest requires support from the community and stakeholders to get the same perception and goals in its development. The purpose of this research is to analyze community attitudes, perceptions, and participation, as well as to analyze stakeholders in terms of identification, classification, roles, and relationships between stakeholders. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach with interviews observations, questionnaires, and literature studies, as data collecting techniques, and the sampling method is done by purposive sampling. The overall perception and attitude of the community towards ecotourism development is high. The level of participation of the Sindangsari Village community in the development of ecotourism in the Kiarapayung Regional Forest for decision making and implementation is in the low category. While participation in obtaining benefits and evaluating managers is in the moderate category. Stakeholders who are classified have the role of key stakeholders SPTH Dishut Jabar, KTH, and Pokdarwis. Each stakeholder has an important role in terms of rights, responsibilities, and benefits according to capacity. The relationship between stakeholders is positive and there is no conflict among stakeholders. |
