On-grid solar panels, or solar panel installations directly connected to the utility grid of the Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), are a more cost- effective option compared to off-grid systems because they do not require batteries and can directly feed excess electricity into the PLN grid. However, currently, PLN cannot monitor the power data generated and electricity usage from on-grid solar panel users. Yet, this data is essential for PLN to understand the total active load connected to the grid to anticipate undervoltage or even blackouts on the grid with numerous on-grid solar panel users. Therefore, a monitoring system is needed to display the data of each on-grid solar panel connected to the power grid and the total usage of all users. This monitoring system should be accessible to both users and electricity service providers like PLN. This paper will discuss the development of a data acquisition and communication system for monitoring on-grid solar panel systems based on a website. The electrical metering system allows users to monitor the electrical indicators of their on-grid solar panels and integrates with a dashboard website, enabling remote monitoring using suitable devices and an internet connection. The data acquisition system uses power sensors to read the electrical indicators from the solar panel inverter's output and the connected loads. The collected data is then transmitted to the dashboard using Wi-Fi communication protocol, connected to the internet network. The results of the implementation of data acquisition, control, and communication devices will utilize the ESP32-C3- WROOM-02 microcontroller, the power sensor module PZEM-004T-V3, and other integrated components on a single circuit board. The tested system demonstrates functionality aligned with the device's objectives and can operate with other subsystems. The testing of the predetermined specifications at the beginning of the project has also been fulfilled, although there are still a few test results that do not match due to some testing factors. Nevertheless, there are still potential areas for improvement and further refinement, particularly in the components used, to enhance the product's economic aspect. text
