Description
Summary:In dealing with COVID-19, Indonesia enforced regulations such as PSBB and self- isolation rules which require people to be able to monitor their own health from home during the pandemic. In practicing these, help and guidance from doctors are still needed so that health service facilities in Indonesia start to utilize telemedicine. However, existing telemedicine platforms such as Halodoc and Alodokter have not yet allowed doctors to examine their patients directly using instruments to measure their condition. Therefore, Respinos has been researched and developed as a device to measure and transmit these patients’ measurement data via BLE technology. These data from Respinos needs to be utilized by an application to help people understand their condition while also consulting with doctors. Said application is named Respinos Health. Using user-centered design method, Respinos Health is designed to encourage patients to do self-examination using Respinos regularly. The design process started with user research to formulate a list of features, including features with a touch of personalization such as reminder feature and consultation feature, and was continued with prototyping. Both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes were created and each tested to get a design that meets the usability goals and user experience goals of Respinos Health, namely easy-to-learn, efficient-to-use, helpful, and engaging. The last iteration of usability testing for the high-fidelity prototype gave the results as follows: 6.63 for SEQ, 98.89% for completion rate, 85.8 for SUS, 6.64 for IMI subscale value/usefulness, and 4.22 for UES-SF. The resulting high-fidelity prototype was then implemented using React Native framework.
