As of the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, Vidio has become the number one OTT service in Indonesia, with a monthly active user (MAU) count reaching 62 million consumers. However, despite its popularity, Vidio is not the preferred video streaming application among Indonesian users. This is mainly due to the unsatisfactory user experience provided by Vidio. This research aims to address the issues of inefficiencies of navigation and content discovery as well as the low interactivity and user engagement felt by users. The outcome of this research project is the design of a high-fidelity prototype for improvement, created using the user- centered design method. The user-centered design process involves specifying the context of use, specifying requirements, producing design solutions, and evaluating the designs. Quantitative data gathering was conducted with 100 respondents, along with qualitative data gathering with 5 respondents. Through data analysis, user behavior, issues, needs, goals, functionalities, and user personas have been defined. Subsequently, the existing solution and designed prototype for improvement will be tested based on the defined needs. The testing aims to measure overall usability, usability goal: efficient to use, and user experience goal: engaging. Based on the conducted tests, the system usability scale achieved a score of 91 out of 100 along with a task success rate of 100%. The single ease question obtained a score of 6.675 out of 7, and the total click accuracy reached 75%. The learning curve was found to be low, and the user engagement scale achieved a score of 4.5 out of 5. The results of this test have exceeded the existing solution test value and the specified minimum value. Therefore, it can be concluded that the proposed design prototype for improvement fulfills the user needs based on the tested aspects. text
