Summary:Indonesia is one of the agricultural countries capable of producing a significant number of vegetables, reaching up to 12,799,185 vegetables per year in 2021. However, farm management in Indonesia still faces various challenges, such as the lack of effective monitoring and regulation of nutrient provision in hydroponic farms. The Hydroponic Farm Pilot Project of the Gunung Geulis Communication Forum (FKGG) is one such hydroponic vegetable farm that encounters these challenges. Therefore, the implementation of a dosing system using the Internet of Things (IoT) in hydroponic farming is carried out to provide more precise nutrition. The dosing system implementation utilizes ESP32 as the microcontroller, TDS sensor, and pH sensor as sensors, and dosing pumps as actuators. The system is also connected to a cloud- based Firebase database and the FKGG Farm application, which can be monitored by users. The system successfully meets the needs of hydroponic farms by reading target values, reading PPM and pH values of the nutrient solution in the irrigation tank, dosing with nutrient solutions A and B, dosing with pH boosters such as pH up and pH down, and sending sensor readings to the database. System testing was conducted through bottom-up integration testing, and the test results show that the system successfully reads user-defined target values, reads PPM and pH values of the solution, doses as needed, provides accurate dosing, can be monitored at any time, and facilitates the work of farmers in the FKGG pilot farm.
