Carbon that is absorbed from the atmosphere and stored in the ocean is called blue carbon. Coastal ecosystems that have contributions in various aspects from ecological, economic, and social through coral reef ecosystems and seagrass. Utilization of blue carbon ecosystem resources has impacts from ecological, economic, social, and cultural aspects that can be used in tourism development. Padangbai is one example in a location that has coral reef and seagrass ecosystems that utilize coastal areas as tourism activities. Therefore, this research was conducted in Padangbai Village with the aim of being able to identify how the community and stakeholders can use blue carbon ecosystem resources in their daily lives and be able to identify the impacts of resource utilization. As well as identifying programs or responses in the development of blue carbon ecosystem resources as tourism. The method used in this study is the analysis of the Driving Forces- Pressures-State-Impacts-Responses (DPSIR) framework, and spatial analysis using mapping to see the distribution of tourist attractions. The results of this study are that Padangbai Village has the potential for blue carbon ecosystem natural resources that can be developed as a tourist attraction. However, there is still a lack of public awareness regarding the utilization of blue carbon ecosystem resources, so that encouragement from stakeholders is needed to participate in managing tourism based on blue carbon ecosystems. text
