The demand for housing is the ability and willingness of consumers to buy homes at a certain price. The presence of young professionals will trigger an increase in demand for housing because they have just entered the world of work and need a home to support their careers. This study analyzes the demand for housing by young professionals and the influence of social, economic, and housing characteristics on this demand. The research uses descriptive statistical analysis methods, correlation analysis, and multiple linear analysis. Multiple linear analysis was carried out to formulate three models, namely hedonic housing prices, hedonic rental prices, and estimated housing demand. The dependent variable used in formulating the demand model is the amount of income that is willing to spend on saving houses. The independent variables used in formulating the demand model are total income, current number of family members, age, length of stay, gender, education level, and marital status. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that young professionals as a whole have requests to buy or rent housing at a certain price and area.
