However, some humans are born with imperfect physical conditions. Therefore, people with physical disabilities need technology to make it easier for them to do their activities. One such technology is known as the Brain Computer Interface (BCI). The signal on the BCI is decoded on an electroencephalography (EEG) device for data acquisition. EEG features motor imagery which is used to visualize movement. In this final project aims to imagine hand movements by knowing the characteristics of the EEG signal. In addition, another goal is to know the research method used. The stages of the method used in this final project research are collecting EEG data obtained from literature studies, data processing and data analysis. EEG data obtained from the literature by Murat Kaya. EEG data is the result of recordings from 7 subjects for the standard stimulus and 2 subjects for the Free Form stimulus. EEG data processing consists of data sorting, pre-processing, determining Power Spectral Density (PSD), and determining Individual Alpha Frequency (IAF). Data analysis in this study is to pay attention to the behavior of the IAF on the parameters used. The parameters used to analyze changes from IAF in this study are the provision of stimulus, frequency selection and channel selection. The results showed that the difference in the IAF average value between the standard stimulus and the freeform stimulus in the right-handed imagery was 0.461 Hz, while the left-handed imagery was 0.192 Hz. The results showed that the difference in the IAF average value between the filter method and the cropping method for the right-handed imagery was 1.323 Hz, while the left-handed imagery was 1.053 Hz. The results showed that the difference in the IAF average value between channels C3, C4 and Cz on the right hand's shading was a min value of 0.01 Hz and a max value of 0.05 Hz. While the difference in the IAF average value between channels C3, C4 and Cz on left-handed imagery is a min value of 0.006 Hz and a max value of 0.267 Hz. This research concludes that the IAF value study provides different values, and the differences in values given need to be studied further. text |

Since birth humans are given perfect limbs by God to move. However, some humans
are born with imperfect physical conditions. Therefore, people with physical
disabilities need technology to make it easier for them to do their activities. One
such technology is known as the Brain Computer Interface (BCI). The signal on the
BCI is decoded on an electroencephalography (EEG) device for data acquisition.
EEG features motor imagery which is used to visualize movement. In this final
project aims to imagine hand movements by knowing the characteristics of the EEG
signal. In addition, another goal is to know the research method used. The stages
of the method used in this final project research are collecting EEG data obtained
from literature studies, data processing and data analysis. EEG data obtained from
the literature by Murat Kaya. EEG data is the result of recordings from 7 subjects

processing consists of data sorting, pre-processing, determining Power Spectral
Density (PSD), and determining Individual Alpha Frequency (IAF). Data analysis
in this study is to pay attention to the behavior of the IAF on the parameters used.
The parameters used to analyze changes from IAF in this study are the provision of
stimulus, frequency selection and channel selection. The results showed that the
difference in the IAF average value between the standard stimulus and the freeform stimulus in the right-handed imagery was 0.461 Hz, while the left-handed

on left-handed imagery is a min value of 0.006 Hz and a max value of 0.267 Hz.
This research concludes that the IAF value study provides different values, and the
differences in values given need to be studied further. |
