The critical temperature was determination by means of resistivity characterization, while microstructure characterization was performed by using SEM and x-ray diffraction. The AC loss measurement was conducted by means of four points probe. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The best result from the resistivity-temperature characterization and x-ray diffraction was obtained from the sample prepared by intermediate melting time of 10 minutes and post-annealing of 200 hours. On to other hand, the sample was prepared by intermediate melting of 5 minutes and post-annealing of 200 hours showed the highest critical current density and grain orientation (OOC) of the 2223 phase. The highest current density achieved by sample was 254.17 Ampere/cm2. Form the AC characterization it was observed that the impedance loss was linearly related to the peak current and frequency while the hysteresis loss was proportional to lp . At the low current regime, the impedance loss was slightly higher than the hysteresis loss. However, at higher current the hysteresis loss become much more dominant, showing more sensitive dependency on the freguency as well. text |
