Out of 100 wells there are 12 wells located in the hinterland (Tuna Lowland) which is land formed from the results of deltaic sedimentation with unstable soil characteristics and has poor carrying capacity. This area would be a good location (Surface location) and currently in the form of nipa palm forests, mangroves, or aquaculture (inland), and different from most other TUNA locations which are swamps (Swamp) so, it has its own challenges in terms of site preparation because it requires large scale work. Because of these conditions, the development of inland areas This can be done through 2 (two) options, namely the swamp operation scheme (Performed with the support of operations and equipment that is already available), or a land operation scheme (carried out like an onshore area operation which has never been implemented in the PETROYAN area). In order to compare the effectiveness of development with swamp operation schemes or land operations from operational and cost aspects, a case study was carried out with the example of the hinterland area 'F adequately represents the actual conditions in the field. This study aims to provide analysis and help choose existing options, then from the existing reserves whether this area is economical enough to be developed. Project valuation is calculated using the Discounted Cash Flow method (DCF) and comply with the provisions of the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for field operators. Result of this study show that Swamp more advantage than Land method. text |
