Description
Summary:The Uneven Intersection Project (Flyover) at Kebon Jeruk Monument is located on Jalan Panjang in West Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. It intersects with Jalan Lapangan Bola, forming a three-arm junction. The design of this intersection is deemed necessary due to the perceived suboptimal performance of the junction. The transportation-focused flyover design in the Final Design Thesis encompasses initial data processing, geometric road design, road pavement design, and road fasilities. The geometric road design includes general requirements related to both horizontal and vertical clearances. The vertical alignment design is adjusted to the existing conditions, anticipated speeds, and the planned types of vehicles that will pass through. Network modeling is conducted to assess the service capacity of the modeled flyover. For the flyover's road pavement design, flexible pavement is used as a non-structural component. It incorporates designs for expansion joints to accommodate gaps between girders, as well as flexible pavement planning for the road over the embankment. The design also covers road facilities like signs and markings. The outcome of this design process comprises construction drawings to be used during the actual construction phase.
