ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> Coastal erosion defines into backward movement of coastal line from the initial position. Erosion was occurred when littoral sediment transport along the coast causing sediments to move from one place to another. Littoral sediment transport occurred when incoming wave direction form an angle with normally coastal line. <br /> <br /> <br /> Coastal of Bengkulu City with kind of land used as settlements, roads, and tourism area has undergone damage causes by seriously coastal erosion with coastal backward movement rate 2-5 m/year. Direction of littoral sediment transport occurs from west to east. <br /> <br /> <br /> One of the causes of erosion occurrence at the coastal of Bengkulu City is because groin from Bengkulu old port is not used and then detain of sediment celerity parallel with coastal line to east direction. <br /> <br /> <br /> Through this study is studied evaluate model of coastal line movement and to get proper handling concepts to Bengkulu City coastal line. <br /> <br /> <br /> After running model and get conclusion that selected handling are combining coastal protection structure and constructing them at the proper place, so the structure work efficiently.
