INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/77272 Research area was located at Pasir River, Banyumas sub-basin. Administratively, Pasir River was located at Karanggayam village, Lumbir, Banyumas District and located at coordinate 108.995 longitude and 7.5 lattitude. The research section have the length of more than 1,300 meter. Interval samples was taken for every 10 meter. The purpose of the research is to obtain the depositional history in Halang Formation based on biostratigraphy and facies association at Lumbir area. The methods were done for this research including measured section and quantitatively biostratigraphy analysis. Measured section used for identifying the rock textures, sedimentary structures, and biota assemblages. Besides, quantitatively biostratigraphy analysis used for identifying index fossils, abundances, and diversities of nannoplankton at Pasir River. The results of the research are fifteen zones of nannoplankton were obtained with classical turbidite facies association dominated, and less of sandstone, structureless sandstone, pebbly sandstone , and debris flow. Besides, the lower part were found non turbidite and non turbidite intercalated turbidite. In the upper part of Middle Miocene to lower part of Late Miocene showed low abundant of nannoplankton and high diversities, supported by non non turbidite dan turbidite intercalated turbidite facies association that indicating the sediments were deposited at shallow marine, and the lower part of Late Miocene showed high abundant and diversities, and classical turbidite dominated that indicating the sediments were deposited at deep marine. text
