DEVELOPMENT OF AUDIT MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES IN THE ABC UNIT AT PT. XYZ

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft, and industrial services (MRO). The audits carried out in the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ do not represent the entire performance of the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ, therefore it is necessary to develop an audit procedure with a more aspects for auditing the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ. The purpose of this research is to carry out an audit for the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ by developing an audit procedures, determining more factors to be audited and their weights in order to abtain recommendations for improvement actions. The results are the maintenance audit index of the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ is 67.43% and the most contributing factors to the performance deviation of the ABC Unit of PT. XYZ are the organization and staffing and policy, the store material and tool control and the motivation. Improvement actions to increase the performance of the unit are to carry out regular and equitable training activities for all employees, to record the availability of materials and spare parts in more detail, to schedule hardware and software servicing on a regular basis, and to increase employee motivation.
