Description
Summary:Boiler Mini Plant type BDT921 is a training facility owned by Engineering Physics ITB. This facility is a means for students to understand the process control contained in the Mini Plant Boiler, especially for boiler and heat exchanger processes. However, this Mini Plant Boiler only provides an overview of the actual processes that occur in the boiler process. There are eight experiments that can be carried out by the Mini Plant Boiler. Each of these experiments represents a real control process in industrial boilers. However, it has not been verified whether these experiments can still be run or not. This is because the Mini Plant Boiler has not been operating for a long time and in previous research there was a transfer of the controller from the SLC YS1700 to the Allen Bradley SLC 500 PLC. So in this study a redesign of the control system was carried out and then data was recorded in each experimental process. The data is then modeled to obtain transfer function equations to carry out simulations and see how close the model is to the real system.
