Summary: | FinTech has emerged as one of the most significant forces in the financial industry, with a potential long-term future in tandem with technological innovation. As a result, the appearance of FinTech is predicted to enhance financial inclusion, which in turn increases a country's economic growth to some extent. On the other hand, Islamic financial technology aligns with Sharia compliance by offering ethical banking services, prohibiting unrighteous activities, and promoting ethical practices. Hence, this research aims to enhance young Muslims’ financial inclusion in Indonesia through the adoption of Islamic FinTech, which focuses on university students. Therefore, the research question and its sub-questions are developed, with the primary research question being, ‘‘How do Muslim students in Indonesia’s top 5 universities’ class of 2020 perceive Islamic Fintech?''. Furthermore, this study employs quantitative analysis on 71 samples that represent Muslim students from Indonesia’s top 5 universities’ class of 2020. In examining the data using descriptive analysis, approaches such as data visualization and descriptive statistics will be used. Integrating the findings and literature review, it can be concluded that Islamic FinTech can enhance the financial inclusion of the respondents to this research by providing provisions that align with their interests, including flexibility, added value, and security. Thus, having a clear prognosis on how Islamic FinTech might improve financial inclusion can clearly help promote financial inclusion and, as a result, help the country that adopts it, or in this case, Indonesia, achieve promising economic growth. |
