Nowadays, digitalization of industry is no longer a new phrase for people. Prior from the Covid-19 supply chain management process has been implemented by the majority of companies from several industries in the world. It is impossible to talk about digitalization of the supply chain without relating to the development of Industry 4.0. Digitization itself provides massive output and benefits to daily life and also to supply chain management. The outbreaks and unfortunate phenomena led to tons of challenges while also proposing massive amounts of opportunities. Based on OECD Digital Economy Outlook 2020, COVID-19 generates several outputs of analysis on opportunities which defines opportunities and policy options in the digital economy. This formulation discusses the process that is required to build a resilience ecosystem by implicating technology in a post pandemic era. Schneider Electric survived by digitizing their people, environment, and technology. They are also able to invest in adaptive and agile approaches through collaborative innovations.They emphasize the importance of the human factor in the digital transformation and hold that access to energy and digital resources can empower anyone. The end consequence of their STRIVE methodology is Tailored Sustainable Connected (TSC) 4.0. Schneider Electric has received accolades and acclaim on a global scale for their innovations in goods and services, as well as for their strategic growth and smart supply chain. |
