It is the second-largest Jabarten (West Java and Banten) subsidiary of PT. Berdikari Nusantara, with assets worth 110 billion IDR (as of December 2021) and as of January 2023, employs 96 employees. As a rural bank, the company provides financial services such as funds and loans for the people and development of MSMEs. Currently, the company faces a high turnover rate because they feel unsatisfied working in the company. Many of the employees resigned due to the lack of training in the company, an imbalance between salary and workload, the lack of recognition, and feeling insecure about their employment post-COVID-19 pandemic. This research is using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, using a survey and includes an interview with the HR manager and reviewing the company's internal data. The survey is based on job satisfaction and employee engagement as the base, based on prior research that linked the two factors to turnover intention. The result of the study revealed that the cause of employee job dissatisfaction at the company can be traced from the career development aspect, compensation and benefits, work environment, and employee relationship with management. Despite having engaged employees, the company still faces high turnover intention. After finding out the cause of job dissatisfaction and disengagement in the company, the researcher formulated a recommendation to be implemented towards the company policy based on the issues that have been found in the company to reduce the high turnover intent at BPR Berdikari Nusantara 11. text |
