The growing demands of hotel industry market requires hotel owners, such as PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, to actively diversify its business and services to remain competitive. One of the current trends for the hotel industry is the current needs of healthcare and wellness offerings. Healthcare and wellness services within the hotel industry typically offers services aimed to fulfill the needs of guests’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. However, establishing a health care and wellness center within a hotel poses set of risks that has to be identified, processed, and treated. ISO 31000:2018 provides the framework for an effective risk management that can be applied for this particular hotel health care and wellness expansion plan. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of ISO 31000:2018 in Sanur Healthcare and Wellness Centre Special Economic Zone Project. This research will be conducted using primary data and interview with PT Hotel Indonesia Natour employees and risk management expert. which includes establishment of project objectives, identifying risks, processing risks, evaluating risks, and mitigating risks. The research found the implementation of ISO 31000:2018 has been done thoroughly, it is found that ISO 31000:2018 risk management has been implemented. However, there is a lack of internalization of risk-aware culture from risk owners of SEZ Sanur reflected in issues regarding the current identified risk, risk treatment, risk monitoring, and contingency plan.
