Numerical flushing time estimation was done with 2 Dimension Hydrodynamic Model & particle tracking using Delft3D-FLOW and Delft3D-PART to simulate tidal flushing in Bima Bay. Empirical flushing time estimation utilizes the Modified Tidal Prism Method (MTPM) with different return flow factor. Numerical flushing time with dispersion scheme yield 10 months duration. While without dispersion scheme, the flushing time of Bima Bay is more than 2 years. The research findings indicate that MTPM yield lower flushing time value than numerical method. Local flushing time in the eastern and southern part of Bima Bay have longer flushing time compared to the western and northern part. text |
