Summary: | PT Gaya Green is a manufacturing industry that focus on the production of oyster
mushroom. According to the company monthly report, it was found that the
production of baglog in the company could not meet the monthly target. Some of
the factors that causes this problem are the high number of contaminated baglog,
the inefficiency of production, and human errors. Based on this problem, it was
concluded that the main reason for all the problem is the lack of monitoring system
that can help the company to monitor the production parameters. The focus of this
research will be the production process in mixing and logging station. The goal of
this research is to design an IoT based monitoring system that can help monitor the
production process of mixing and logging in real-time.
The methods that will be used in this research are the waterfall wethodology that
have been modified. This research will design a system based on a 3 layer IoT
Architecture. The system design will be able to measure the moisture content of
mixing process, the weight of baglog, and the total production each day.
The result of this research is a monitoring system that can monitor the moisture
content, the weight of baglog, and the total production each day from mixing and
logging station. The data is then connected to a dashboard that can visualize the
data in real-time. With this system, the company can now monitor the production
parameter and collect the data as a benchmark for future improvement.
