Summary:Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) represents a well’s production behavior at a particular time. The curve is obtained by plotting flow rate versus flowing pressure. In two – phase reservoirs, as reservoir pressure depletes, reservoir deliverability drops due to reduction of relative permeability to oil and increased oil viscosity. Thus, unable to apply the IPR curve used the first time to evaluate the productivity of the current reservoir. Therefore, it is necessary to forecast or estimate the IPR curve in the future. Several methods have been developed to analyze future IPR for solution – gas drive reservoirs both for two - phases of oil and gas, as well as for three - phases of oil, gas, and water. However, according to Wiggins (1992), all methods are only suitable for future IPR in which the water production does not change, in this case water cut is the same througout the production phase. As a result, if the well is producing water or there is an increase in the water cut, the IPR curve used at the beginning needs to be enhanced. Therefore, this study will develop a study to estimate future IPR for solution – gas drive reservoirs by considering changes in water cut using production data in order to provide production performance with better accuracy. The proposed study from this study gives suggestions for oilfields that have been producing for a long time, which has never been analyzed using three-phase IPR curve.
