In this study, kinetic tests were conducted using the Free Draining Leach Column Test method to see the rate of oxidation reaction of acid mine drainage over time, which will then be mitigated with mine water management installations. Two samples were tested for kinetics: potential acid forming and nonpotential acid forming samples. During the preparation process: breaking, sieving and sample determination, it was determined that the PAF sample was subdivided into 4 based on the distribution of rock particle size. The water quality parameters tested included: leachate generation volume, pH, acidity and alkalinity, metal content testing (iron, manganese, aluminum), oxidation-reduction potential, electrical conductivity. Based on the leaching simulation or kinetic test, it was found that PAF samples with all size variations were classified as small capacity PAFs. Based on statistical analysis and interpretation of oxidation-neutralization curves, it was shown that differences in particle size and density state (void ratio) of the soil affect its acid potential and neutralization. This difference is measured by the indicators of sulfate concentration [SO4 2- ] and carbonate neutralizing factor [Ca2+] + [Mg2+] + [Mn2- ] which have significant differences in each particle size variation. However, the differences did not occur significantly in other parameters. text
